One of a few rare owner-operated specialty nurseries in the region, Secret Garden Growers sells plants both online through the website and in-person at the nursery location and at various open houses, shows, and other events throughout the year.
The original site was built with Yahoo Stores. It was tricky and time-consuming to use, lacked some essential features of modern online merchant platforms, and looked very dated. So we did a platform shift to Shopify. It’s more expensive overall, but increased sales volume and greatly increased efficiency more than makes up for that.
